Special performances by Johnnyphlo, Clara Chung, Ailee, yours truly and the AOM (Art of Movement) dance crew. One of the members of AOM is Jay Park (Park Jaebeom) formerly of the super kpop group 2PM and yes, that’s a big deal people! Come out and show your support! Details can be found on the Facebook event. Hit the jump for Jay Park’s cover of B.O.B’s “Nothin’ on You” because he killed it… and I heard it’ll get me a lot of blog hits haha.

Clara Chung – Offbeat (Live)

24 03 2010

Clara Chung is quickly becoming one of the more popular Youtube stars and it is well deserved. I was a little slow getting on the CC train but now I’m on and loving the ride. She reminds me a lot of Regina Spektor and Colbie Caillat, which happen to be some of my favorite artists (surprised, right?) “Offbeat” is an original song that she performed at LA’s Kollaboration 10. She won the entire contest with this performance. Make sure you watch it to the end because that’s where it gets fun!

Decipher – Hyundai Daewoo Kia

6 03 2010

Lloyd Banks and Juelz Santana put out “Beamer Benz or Bentley“ and I thought to myself “I got to do it.” And without any further wait I present to you “Hyundai Daewoo Kia.” The title is just a big up to my Korean heritage but the song is for everybody! You can download the joint for free and I pressure you to! Spread the word! This is just a reminder that The Effect is coming this Summer! “Get ready!

Open Bars Release Part 2

6 03 2010

Part 2 of Manifest’s release party footage has been released! More clips of performances from his new mixtape are shown. The “One of the Best” crew was all together so of course we had to rip that!

Open Bars Release Part 1

5 03 2010

Your boy and mine, Manifest, has just liberated footage from his release party a weeks back. The video features local talent from Virginia, namely Capital P, Illbill, Sickboi, C-Note and of course JL & Lyricks. The Muzo camp (Johnnyphlo and I) also came through to show our boy support. You can see Mani and I perform the joint “Popular” in this clip.

STS – In for the Kill

2 03 2010

This joint goes so hard! Sugar Tongue Slim is new to me but I’m definitely going to be looking out. Apparently he’s from ATL but now resides in my hometown of Philly and worked with Black Thought. The production on “In for the Kill” is so mean. If this isn’t the next under the radar hit like “Day N Night” or something along those lines it damn well should be!
