Tonight I will be performing for the Rutger’s KSA Winter Culture Show. I’ll be performing some exclusive cuts from the upcoming album The Effect. Some tracks I have never performed before which should be fun and I’ll also be performing a few cuts with a new twist and some cuts that just get a good crowd reaction. Jaeson Ma will be in Philadelphia at UPENN this Thursday screening his documentary 1040. The film discusses Asia’s importance in the spreading of the Christian word. Johnnyphlo, Lyricks and myself have been fortunate enough to be booked to open up for the show. Details can be found on the Facebook event. I’m flying out tomorrow for 2 shows. I’ll be rocking Cafe 18.5 in Dallas, TX on the 16th and again on the 17th. Sharing the stage with me will be Petey-O, that I met through The Beautiful Cycle boys, Funkinetics Crew, C-illment, G2, Big Lex, Mijee, and who knows who else! May is Asian Pacific American heritage month and this event going down tonight honors that. I will be performing in front of politicans, judges and other official sounding people haha. I’m sincerely honored that they reached out and asked me to perform at such an important event and hope that I can show them a side of “being Asian” that they may not have seen before.
This is something special. The Rutger’s University Korean Student Association in collaboration with allkpop proudly bring you Project Korea III this Saturday! Special performances by Johnnyphlo, Clara Chung, Ailee, yours truly and the AOM (Art of Movement) dance crew. One of the members of AOM is Jay Park (Park Jaebeom) formerly of the super kpop group 2PM and yes, that’s a big deal people! Come out and show your support! Your boy will be rockin’ for the hometown! I don’t get to perform for Philadelphia as often as I would like but this should be something special. DNA Nightlife got a good line up of talent to rock Polaris Nightclub in Philly this Friday night so join us, will you? I got some surprise guests for yall! I will be performing at the University of Michigan’s Culture Shock event. The MUzO camp has told me what a great show this was last year so it’s only natural that I have to do it this year.
